In the Air and on the Road

"But thanks be to God, who in Christ Jesus, always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragran the knowledge of him everywhere." 2 Corinthians 2:14

Mary Alice and I have been in the air and on the road.

This past month we spent 10 days in our old hometown of Portland, Oregon, visiting friends and supporters.

The meaningful moments of renewed contact in prayer and fellowship were a reminder of God's faithfulness over the years. We returned home thankful and encouraged.

This next week we plan to leave on the road for Dallas, Texas where we'll be participating in a retreat with our mission, Paraclete Mission Group (October 13-16). On the way we'll be visiting with other friends and supporters who have partnered with us over the years.

Whether in the air or on the road, there are often opportunities to share the life of Christ with those we meet. On this most recent trip that included two Uber drivers and two passagers who shared the same flight.

It reminds us of the above words of Paul to the Corinthian believers. I ask myself, "Do I spread the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ everywhere I go?"
